Enrolled bills, 1895-1899.

These are transcripts of acts and resolutions passed by the General Assembly; signed by representatives of the Senate and the House of Representatives; and approved, dated, and signed into law by Governor William O. Bradley. Included are acts concerning the incorporation of towns, businesses and organizations; appropriations for state funding; the structure of the educational system; and certain court cases requiring legislative action. Also included are acts requiring at least one female physician employed by institutions with female patients; allowing children of slaves to inherit property from their parents; protecting the right to freedom of speech; and designating a room in the capitol building as the State Library.
